The design concept for the Pioneer Park redevelopment was shared with the public at a Public Information Session on February 28, 2024.

Pioneer Park Redevelopment Concept - The Conceptual Design has something for everyone! It features a limestone walking trail, fitness station, picnic area, senior kid's playground (ages 5 to 12), junior kid's playground (ages 18 months to 5 years), swing set, pavilion, washroom building, tennis court, pickle ball court, unleashed dog park (small dogs), unleashed dog park (large dogs), riverfront scenic landing, nine hole disc golf park, limestone nature trail, lookout pavilion and plenty of parking.

The community is encouraged to check out the two different design concepts and submit questions, comments or feedback to the Parks and Recreation division through the 'Ask the Project Team' and 'Provide Comments and Feedback' tools on the project's main Jump In page.
