The Heritage Inventory remained ongoing throughout winter 2024. An update on progress to date:

• Field Inventories in Bobcaygeon and Bethany have been completed. Research is ongoing for these properties to find out their histories.
• Field Inventories in Fenelon Falls and Omemee began in summer 2023 and are currently ongoing. These inventories are anticipated for completion in early summer 2024.
• A new historic context statement for Tourism has been developed. You can find it in our Project Documents.
• A public facing map showing the inventoried properties in currently in development. We are anticipating releasing this map to the public in late May 2024.

The inventory will expand to Lindsay in summer 2024. To introduce the project to the community and provide an update on the project to date, we will be hosting a public meeting on May 27 at the Lindsay Armoury (210 Kent Street West) from 7pm to 9pm. You are invited to come out to find out more about the project and ways to get involved.
