A summary of key findings from Phase 1 of the GMS Project is available for download under Project Resources on the right side of the project's home page. The Province has recently released a new Provincial Planning Statement to replace the current Provincial Policy Statement, 2020 and A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2019 that is set to take effect on October 20, 2024. The forthcoming GMS Final Report will integrate the new Provincial Planning Statement policies. A subsequent Project Update will be posted when the Final Report is available, and scheduled for presentation to Council.
