Design concepts for the Ops Community Centre Park redevelopment were shared with the public at a Public Information Session on February 6.

Ops Park Redevelopment Concept A - Concept A focuses on improving the existing park while adding additional athletic fields/pitches. Concept A features an enhanced little league baseball diamond, natural turf soccer pitch, artificial turf soccer pitch with lighting, nine hole disc golf course, walking trail, pickleball court, picnic area, pavilion, washroom building, and a children's playground.

Ops Park Redevelopment Concept B - Concept B is more of a baseball diamond focus. The existing park will be improved with the addition of one baseball diamond and an enhanced little league baseball diamond. Concept B also includes adding other park amenities as follows: artificial turf soccer pitch with lighting, nine hole disc golf course, walking trail, tennis/pickleball court, picnic area, pavilion, washroom building, and a children's playground.

The community is encouraged to check out the two different design concepts and submit questions, comments or feedback to the Parks and Recreation division through the 'Ask the Project Team' and 'Provide Comments and Feedback' tools on the project's main Jump In page.
