Phase 2 of the Feasibility Study of a Cultural Centre(s) in the City of Kawartha Lakes officially ended this past week with a presentation to the Task Force and submission of an Interim Report. Those materials are available to review at kawarthalakes.ca (search via the calendar for the Cultural Centre Feasibility Task Force meeting on March 30th).

In Phase 3, Giaimo Architects and Nordicity will focus on potential facility costs, operating budgets and a location analysis, based on the vision established from research, consultations and discussions with Task Force and the Advisory Committee (TAC).

We would also like to thank the many organizations and sites that hosted us for tours during our March 31 site visits in Lindsay, Omemee, Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls, Ops Township and Kinmount.

We will continue to share updates on the progress of the Feasibility Study through the City of Kawartha Lakes’ Jump In platform as the project concludes towards the end of June.
